Circuit Court Document Viewing Software

The majority of the Circuit Courts in West Virginia are using a computer based Case Management System named CCMS. In recent years many of the Clerks have installed scanners and integrated CCMS software that allows their staff to scan, store, view, print, email, and fax documents that are associated with their docket entries.

Inquiry means image attachments are viewable for a case file. The attachments
include orders, petitions, summons,
subpoenas, notice of hearing and more. Imaging allows courts to better
serve the public and other governmental agencies.
Paper documents in the past were simply stored onsite or moved to a secure storage facility. Technology led to saving case data on a computerized repository. With automation of case files, archived data can be accessed in seconds compared to days. Imaging of court records has removed the time lag between a request for information and receiving information.
With Circuit Court Document Viewing Software, CCIS(i), case files are only a click away. CCIS(i) is an add-on for CCMS inquiry that allows you to quickly and easily access case data. The new image retrieval software enables Circuit Judges, Family Judges, Prosecuting Attorneys and all of their staff the ability to view, print, email, and fax the same documents the Circuit Clerks have been scanning.
