Software Computer Group (SWCG) introduced a new data managment service for it's growing Wide Area Rapid Notification Users.
Whereas SWCG has been in the data processing business for over twenty five years (25) and has specified knowledge and experience in connection
with the Wide Area Rapid Notification, it decided to offer a new server to it's WARN customer base. The new service maintains ESL public telephone data based on the client's requested break out of the data, which is typically communy based.
Once the full set of ESL data is received, SWCG and the client decides how the public data should be split into groups. Once the data is uploaded to the website ESL data updates are applied to the database once a month.
Typically the public phone numbers are grouped into all county and communities. This service releives the WARN subscriber the burden of making sure the public data is up to date. The client is still responsible for keeping it's individual groups, such as first responders, hospitals, government officials, etc.
Do to the reasonable pricing of this service, the majority of the clients have elected to utilize the service.
